KUCHING: Repok assemblyman Datuk Seri Huang Tiong Sii recently distributed food aid to residents of Rumah Gimang in his constituency who are currently placed under the enhanced movement control order (EMCO).
Rumah Gimang is under EMCO from July 23 until August 8.
The food items consist of rice, sugar, instant noodles, eggs, beverages, salt, flour and others.
The aid was distributed by Kapitan Ling Dien Yong, who was representing Huang, and members of the Repok Service Centre.
Huang hoped that the assistance could alleviate the burden of the longhouse residents.
He also advised them to adhere to the standard operating procedures to curb the spread of Covid-19.
