KUCHING: Kuching North City Commission (DBKU) will be hosting the Siol Virtual Run 2021 in conjunction with the 33rd Kuching City Day.
DBKU said that the run will feature two categories; the 33-kilometer category is an individual run involving running activities starting from August 28 to 29.
The second one is the 333-kilometer category which is for a group of eight participants.
“Registration is free and those who are interested can register themselves online (www.dbku.events) starting from August 10 to 25.
“Participants will have to present their running results in a file or document either in Word or PowerPoint and then submit it via email (komunitidbku@gmail.com) before August 31,” it said in a statement today (August 17).
DBKU stated that participants must submit their running records through applications such as Strava, Samsung Health, Garmin, Nike Run and Runkeeper registered with their names.
“They must also submit pictures of themselves during running activities as well as their full name, identification number and contact number.
“The date and time of email submissions must also be included. Any inquiries can be directed to the Community Development and Services Division at 082-236223,” it said.
