SIBU: Sarawak United People’s Party (SUPP) potential candidates for the Lanang Parliamentary Constituency, Kelvin Kong and Joseph Chieng visited a few longhouses in the constituency last weekend.

The longhouses the duo visited were Rumah Birai, Rumah Empauk, Rumah Ngelai, Rumah Gani, Rumah Manggie, Rumah Jarit, Rumah Bunsie, Rumah Akul, Rumah Juki and Rumah Jok at Ulu Salim.

Kelvin Kong and Joseph Chieng were accompanied by members of SUPP Dudong Bumiputera Unit Committee during their visit to the longhouses.

The purpose of their visit was to provide touch point fund for each longhouse they visited.

“We have visited a few longhouses in Nanga Assan, Ulu Naman and Nibong in the past few weeks.

“This visiting will continue to enable us to understand the actual situations and to identify the people’s needs for our team to address and provide assistance through our touch point fund,” said Kelvin Kong when contacted by New Sarawak Tribune yesterday.
