KUCHING: All citizens affected by the Covid-19 pandemic will continue to be given immediate attention and action to ensure that their welfare is safeguarded.

“The welfare of the people will continue to be prioritised in Demak Laut constituency even through we are currently going through Phase 2 of the National Recovery Plan (NRP).

“The priority now is to ensure that every family has food on the table. Various strategies have been organised to ensure that no citizen is left out from receiving appropriate assistance during this period.

“This is a measure taken in order to bring a positive impact on lives and wellbeing, especially of those affected,” he said when commenting on the provision of food aid to residents of 28 villages in Demak Laut recently.
