MUKAH: Dr Zamzam Mohd Walid is the new Politeknik Mukah (PMU) director effective Sept 15.
He succeeded Dullah Muluk who has been transferred to Politeknik Tawau, Sabah last June.
Dr Zamzam was one of the 23 other higher education studies officers who had reported for duty virtually at PMU here recently.
Of the total, 12 were from Malaya and 11 were existing PMU staff, while Hamdan Samdin was transferred to Politeknik Sultan Ibrahim, Johor and appointed as deputy director (academic).
Three of them were holders of Grade DH52 and 20 Grade DH54, as higher education studies officers (PPPT), the new job title for PPPT leading lecturers.
Most PPPT from outside Sarawak would have to undergo quarantine process before they could enter the state by the end of this month.
