KUCHING: The state reported ten new Covid-19 fatalities on Saturday (Sept 25) with most of them being backlog death cases.
Sarawak Disaster Management Committee (SDMC) said that two of the deaths were recorded on Sept 24.
It involved a 42-year-old woman from Samarahan who passed away at Simunjan Hospital and a 61-year-old woman from Sri Aman who died at Sarawak General Hospital (SGH). Both had comorbidities of high blood pressure, dyslipidemia, diabetes and kidney disease.
On Sept 23, four Covid-19 deaths were recorded. The cases were an 80-year-old man from Miri, a 86-year-old woman from Kuching, a 57-year-old man also from Kuching and a 58-year old man from Sri Aman.
Meanwhile, on Sept 22, a woman aged 88, who had high blood pressure and a 64-year-old man who had Parkinson disease, both afrom Kuching died at SGH.
A 73-year-old woman from Sibu, who had high blood pressure, dyslipidemia and heart disease passed away at Sibu Hospital.
And lastly on Sept 17, one death was reported involving a 76-year-old woman who died at Betong Hospital.
