KUCHING: The Covid-19 pandemic did not deter 20 students from SMK Lake, Bau to step up their Highly Immersive Programme (HIP).
“This programme coached by Chok Sze Jin is aimed at promoting the concept of ‘glocalisation’ which enables students to think globally while acting locally.
“Through this, the students exchange information in garbage mapping based on the local context,” said the organiaer in a statement.
In response, the school seek to continue the project with ShinSung High School from South Korea and six other countries including India, Vietnam, Indonesia and the United Kingdom.
