KUCHING: Kuching South City Council (MBKS) mayor Datuk Wee Hong Seng yesterday (Nov 18) handed over the appointment letters for two Rural Transformation Programme (RTP) projects that had been awarded to two contractors, namely, Dalco Enterprise and Aktif Bina.
Also present at the brief handover ceremony were Zone 4 Councillor Iskandar Sharkawi and Councillor Sebali Chik.
Delco Enterprise will upgrade Surau Darul Hasanah Kampung Tabuan Ulu, Lot No 3 Dani while Aktif Bina will repair Tadika Kemas Tabuan Tengah.
The RTP projects are under Santubong MP Datuk Seri Dr Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar, who is also Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Parliament and Law).
Wee hoped that the projects would benefit the residents of both areas.
He said both contractors had to complete the projects within the stipulated time under the contracts.
