KUCHING: There were 13 COVID-19 cases recorded in Sarawak on Saturday (Jan 15), bringing the total to 252,594 cases.
According to the Sarawak Disaster Management Committee (SDMC) in its daily update, all of the cases were categories 1 and 2.
“The breakdown of the cases saw Sibu recorded four cases, while Miri and Kuching each have three cases.
“Only one case was recorded each in the districts of Bintulu, Limbang and Lawas,” said SDMC.
Apart from that, today’s update also saw 22 new persons under surveillance. There were 507 of them in quarantine at designated hotels.
The committee also stated that the total number of persons under surveillance that have been discharged were 164,027.
