MUKAH: Mukah Polytechnic (PMU) recently launched the Educational Organisation Management System (EOMS) for a more effective service.
In addition, it also focused on the standards of educational organisations that support the development of teaching, learning or educational knowledge in institutions.
Present to launch the EOMS was the Polytechnic Education Department and Community College deputy director-general Mohamad Amin Hamat.
In his speech, Mohamad Amin hoped that the implementation of the EOMS would further improve the quality of staff services and student excellence.
“Congratulations for the outstanding achievements over last year. It is a manifestation of the commitment of all POLYCC Sarawak Zone staff.
“This achievement is very meaningful for us to continue to strive to make POLYCC Sarawak Zone as the best Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) institution in the state.
“Year 2022 will definitely provide new challenges to all POLYCC Sarawak Zone residents.
“In this regard, let us continue to practice excellent work practices and high integrity so that our vision, mission and planning can be achieved.”
Elaborating further, Mohamad Amin said several programmes sometimes needed to be modified to ensure the agency’s services to students and the community are not affected, especially with the need to work based on the new norms.
“We must be united, sincere and open-minded to implement change so that the service is carried out in the best way to get an upgrade to a higher level.”
He added he was confident they could all build a strong and solid team if they all worked hard to achieve the targets set for 2022.
