KUCHING: Consumers have been told to report unscrupulous traders to the authorities if they find them increasing the prices of goods unreasonably.
Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs (KPDNHEP) Ministry Sarawak director Datuk Stanly Tan said its enforcement officers would be on the ground to monitor prices.
“We will take action if they are making unreasonable profits or profiteering, especially during the festive season,” he said in a statement on Sunday (Jan 30).
