MIRI: The Miri City Mayor Cup men’s futsal tournament will be held from Feb 25 to 27 at Miri Indoor Stadium here.
The tournament is organised by the Miri City Council Employees Social and Recreational Club (KSRK MBM) in collaboration with P Ramlee Kolok & Catering and Hannah Restaurant & Catering.
“The champions will bring home RM5,800; the runners-up RM2,000; third placing RM1,500 and fourth placing RM500. All winners will bring home trophies, medals, and hampers as well,” KSRK MBM said in a statement.
“Besides that, the Best Player will bring home RM300 and a trophy while the Best Goalkeeper will receive RM200 and a trophy.”
Registration fee is RM300 per team, and currently 24 teams have registered for the tournament.
“The maximum number of teams is 40 and the closing date for registration is Feb 22.
