MUKAH: Sarawak Deputy Minister of Integrity and Ombudsman Datuk Dr Juanda Jaya is currently undergoing self-quarantine after testing positive for Covid-19 yesterday.
This was confirmed by the Jemoreng assemblyman himself through a Facebook post on Wednesday (March 9).
According to Juanda, he felt uncomfortable apart from having mild flu on Monday night.
He performed a Covid-19 RTK self-test on Tuesday afternoon and it was positive.
“I have reported the result to the Ministry of Health through MySejahtera and started isolating myself immediately as directed by the the ministry.”
Juanda would undergo quarantine until March 14.
In addition, he had instructed all his close contacts to do a self-test and all were negative.
