SERIAN: The establishment of Sarawak Service Centre here has received positive response from community leaders. It has made it easier for locals to conduct various transactions such as paying bills, assessment rate and so on.
Operating every Monday to Saturday from 8am to 5pm, it is a customer-friendly facility offering various amenities through various channels such as counters, kiosks, portals and mobile apps. It is an initiative that is in line with Sarawak’s digital economy vision.
EVA LICHOK, NATIONAL ANTI-DRUG AGENCY OFFICER
The service centre established in Serian Division is a great opportunity for folk here to enjoy the facilities provided by the Sarawak government.
I also encourage everyone to register or use the Sarawak Pay Global app as everything is available and convenient.
DONNY ACHAN, VILLAGE CHIEF
The service centre provides a wide range of services so we don’t have to waste time and money going somewhere far to make bill payments and deal with government agencies. It also speeds things up and makes life easier.
MELIN SUNANG, VILLAGE HEAD
Before this, if you want to pay bills, it was difficult because the offices are too far and we had to go to various locations. With the service centre, it is now very easy for Serian folk to do everything from paying electricity bills to assessment rates and so on.
We save on time, fuel and money. I hoped that the centre can be opened on Sundays as well so that folk can do their transactions as some may not be free on the normal operating days.
NORBERT NUOM, VILLAGE CHIEF
In my opinion, this service centre is very good. It also makes life easier for Serian folk to deal with government agencies and pay their bilss and many other matters. Since I live in Siburan, I always had to pay my bills in Kuching or Serian before this and I had to endure long queues.
