MURUM: Murum assemblyman Kennedy Chukpai held a dialogue with community leaders on Sunday (April 10).
The session was to discuss issues related to the division of land lots and agriculture in Tegulang Resettlement Scheme here.
“Thanks and appreciation to all parties who have given their commitment and cooperation in this dialogue.
“We really hope that the outcome will be the beginning of resolving issues in Tegulang Resettlement,” he said.
The dialogue was attended by Kapit Resident Nyurak Keti, Belaga District officer Juan Ubit, Kapit Land and Survey Department superintendent Sagu Unting, representatives from Kapit Agriculture Department, representatives from Kapit Rural Water Supply Department, and Kapit Drainage and Irrigation Department.
Also present were Penghulu Katan Lawai, Penghulu Luhat Anyub, community leaders as well as representatives of Long Lawen, Long Magan and Long Malim Kenyah village development and security committees.
