DARO: Matu Daro District Council (MDDC) will hold a photo contest whose entry is now open.
This competition is divided into two categories, namely Green and Environment for the first category as well as Green and Development for the second one.
According to Sarawak Public Communication Unit (UKAS), the competition is open to all individuals who are residential in the area under the jurisdiction of MDDC (also known as Majlis Daerah Matu Daru or MDMD).
MDMD said the photos sent for the contest must also be photos that were taken in the area under its jurisdiction.
“Submission of entry only requires participant to upload it on their Facebook page with the caption: “(Free caption)”, Green and (Environment/Development) and tag the Facebook page “Perpustakaan Awam Matu” with the Hashtag #MDMD2022 #GADONGISGOOD,” MDMD said.
For information, one participant is allowed to participate in one category only, and the work must be original and no photo manipulation is allowed.
Participation is free. The closing date for entries is this April 22 and the results will be announced at Perpustakaan Awam Matu Facebook on May 13, this year.
