KUCHING: Sarawak Skills Development Centre (Sarawak Skills) and the Social Security Organisation (SOCSO) will co-host the ‘Temu Duga Khas Belia’ event at the Sarawak Skills in Tabuan Jaya here, on April 25 and 26 (Monday and Tuesday).
Various organisations from across the state would participate in the two-day event, which would be open from 8.30am to 4pm, with over 1,000 job openings for unemployed and fresh graduates.
Sarawak Skills Group of Learning Institutions executive director Hallman Sabri said the initiative is the greatest venue for job seekers to explore a wide range of career opportunities.
“Danum Sinar Sdn Bhd, Longi (Kuching) Sdn Bhd, Hock Lee Hotel & Residences, Press Metal Bintulu Sdn Bhd, PMB Aluminium Sdn Bhd, Perbena Emas Sdn Bhd, Limar Group of Companies and Hartanah Trading Sdn Bhd are among the participants.
“Sarawak Skills, Agensi Pekerjaan IRC Sdn Bhd including Hemisphere (Grand Margherita/Riverside Majestic/Riverside Astana Wing), Ciri Kuasa Sdn Bhd, Daya Kuasa Suria Sdn Bhd, Gerbang Alaf Restaurant Sdn Bhd, Veonic Technology Sdn Bhd, Swee Chong Construction Sdn Bhd, Koperasi Keluarga Sumiran, T.T Agency, Shrila Premier Consult and Raya Khas Sdn Bhd will be there as well,” he added.
Candidates should bring their resumes, certifications as well as passport-sized photographs.
He also advised participants attending the event to strictly follow the Sarawak Disaster Management Committee’s (SDMC) standard operating procedures (SOPs).
The programme would be officiated by Hallman and state SOCSO director Philip Sangkan on April 25 at 9am.
