MIRI: Ratepayers here have been advised to make their payments online either via S Pay Global app, Service Sarawak website and app, and Pay Bills Malaysia website to avoid queuing.
“The payment methods are at your fingertips,” Miri mayor Adam Yii Siew Sang said today.
“Assessment bills for 2022 have been sent earlier to ratepayers.
“Those who have not received or have misplaced their assessment bills are advised to obtain a copy from Service Sarawak counters at UTC Miri.”
Yii disclosed that the Sarawak government, through its Post Covid-19 recovery initiative, was giving a 25 per cent discount for the first half assessment bills for all holdings.
The total amount subsidised by the state government would amount to RM10.69mil for 2022.
“For those who have made their payments earlier, the overpayment amount shall be credited into their 2023 assessment bill.”
