LUNDU: A total of RM55,000 Minor Rural Project (MRP) grants were given to 15 non-governmental organisations (NGOs) and the village development and security committees (JKKK) to help create programmes that will benefit the residents of Tanjong Datu.

Tanjong Datu assemblyman Azizul Annuar Adenan said this during the MRP Grant Handover and Presentation Ceremony in conjunction with the “Randau Pemimpin Bersama Masyarakat” Programme Tanjong Datu (Lundu Zone) here on Monday.

“Continue to work with me and local leaders so that we can jointly develop the community to be more developed and at the same time make the name of Tanjong Datu famous,” he said.

About 70 guests attended the programme which was organised by the Lundu district office in collaboration with the Tanjong Datu Service Centre which took place at the Mahligai Gading Hall.
