APM rescues cat stuck 12ft up tree

SPAOH: A cat that was stuck up a 12-foot-tall mango tree was finally rescued by members of the Civil Defence Force (APM).

“At about 10.40am on Monday (May 9), we were informed by the cat owner that his pet was unable to climb down on its own after climbing up the tree near his house.

“Two members went to the location and in less than 10 minutes, the cat was rescued and handed over to its owner,” according to Betong District APM officer Lt (APM) Desem Samuel.
