BARAM: Heavy rainfall in several areas in Hulu Baram flooded Long Lellang and surrounding areas.
A new report by the Sarawak Public Communication Unit (UKAS) highlighted several pictures shared by villagers on Monday showing the water condition in the Baram River at a relatively dangerous level with strong currents.
The situation is an early warning to the residents and villages on the riverbanks to be on alert.
The water coming down from the upper reaches of the river will usually result in uncontrolled flash floods as was the case in May last year.
