KUCHING: Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) Jemoreng will submit a motion concerning members who have been found betraying the party at its Triennial Delegates Conference (TDC) in June.
Branch chief Datuk Dr Juanda Jaya said in the last 12th State Election, some members had not helped the party but instead had shown support for the opposition candidates or independent candidates either through social media and others.
“We will submit this motion and I have also received information that some of our PBB branches will bring the same motion for the party to take stern actions against the party traitors,” he said t when met at the PBB headquarters here on Sunday (May 15).
Dr Juanda, who is also Deputy Minister in the Premier’s Department (Integrity and Ombudsman), pointed out that he does not want to see party members being ‘wolves in sheep’s clothing’ especially when the 15th General Election takes place.
“Betrayal of politics is something that cannot be forgiven because the decision of the leadership is a collective decision and every member of the party, their loyalty, must be proven on the day of war (election),” he said.
He added that if party members do not support Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) or PBB, then they should be with the parties that they support.
Earlier, Dr Juanda attended the GPS pre-council meeting chaired by Premier Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg at the headquarters.
