KUCHING: Real estate entrepreneurs are advised to manage their finances wisely.
A real estate negotiator Ali Hossen Abang said, being in today’s generation, the youth tend to easily give in to their desires compared to their actual needs when it comes to spending money.
“Aside from the need to manage their finances wisely, to be successful in this field, they should also take note of the right formula needed to collect real estate.
“By practising the right formula and equipping themselves with the knowledge related to real estate, they will be able to easily calculate the cost of the houses with the budget that they have at hand without being deceived by the sellers,” he said in an interview with New Sarawak Tribune on Monday (May 23).
He added that once they are in the real estate field, they must always do the best that they can in order to achieve their aim.
“In my experience, when you work as a real estate negotiator, it is not enough to just sell only one or two houses per month (and hope that the sales will go through) because at times, there are obstacles faced that do not guarantee your sales.
“That is why it is best for you to sell as much estate as you can because we never know how far is our own limit of achievements once we put our mind to it,” he encouraged.
Speaking of his life experiences, Ali shared that his success was due to his fluency in seven languages and his experiences in other different fields.
With the vast population of races with different languages spoken by the people, being hyperpolyglot is an added advantage in one’s life.
“Despite studying in a pure science stream, I personally love language and literature.
“I tend to learn languages either through my friends or people that I met (because I like talking to people).
“That is why even if it is just a little, at least I get to know the language and learn a bit of the different languages,” he said.
