OYA: Muhd Azizi Roslan of SMK Mukah emerged the champion of the Boys Under-18 Category of Archery Competition held here over the weekend.
First and second runners-up, respectively, were Fereric Asim of SMK Oya and Michael Hii Siong Fong of SMK TPDHN Daro.
In the Girls under-18 Category, the winner was Zakiah Hadenan from TPDHN Daro, with second and third spots, respectively, went to Tan Chai Ching(TPDHN) and Siti Nursyamina Edrus of SMK Oya.
For the Boys Under-12 Category, first was Haikal Hariri Halary from SK Kpg Teh Oya, second(Bryan Dylan Andy Adam of Kpg Sg Ud Dalat) and third(Mohd Irfan Rahimi Razeli (SK Datuk Pengiran Muhamad Oya).
While, Dayang Intan Nurafrina Awang Kalong of SK Kpg Teh, took the Girls Under-12 Category title of the competition held at the football field of SMK Oya.
In second and third spots, respectively, were Khairina Khairul Zulhusny and Dayang Nisrina Awang Alium, both of SK Kampung Teh Oya.
Dalat District Education Office, Co-curriculum and Sports Unit Supervisor, Ismail Kram, who officiated at the closing ceremony pointed out that the competition was an avenue to select the participants to represent the division in the state-level and also to promote the game.
This Mukah Division School Sports Council Archery Championship was participated by 9 secondary schools and 5 primary schools.
