SERIAN: Two motorcyclists were killed in a head-on collision after one of them decided to ride against the flow of traffic here today.

Anthoneo Daxster Adlani, 19, and Isamuddine Suri, 33, sustained head and chest injuries as well as broken limbs in the 12.25am mishap at Km 55 Jalan Kuching- Serian.

Sarawak Traffic Police chief Supt Bingkok John, said both motorcyclists were pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics.

Investigation found that the 19-year-old victim was riding his motorcycle against the traffic when he ran into the other motorcycle ridden by Isamuddine, a trader who was heading out from Kuching.

The impact of the collision threw the 19-year-old onto the road divider while the trader crashed on the left side of the road.

He said the bodies were taken to the Serian Hospital for post-mortem. Investigations are continuing.
