KUCHING: Sarawak Information (JaPen) director Jaafar Jantan paid a courtesy call on Deputy Minister in the Premier’s Department (Corporate Affairs, Information and Sarawak Public Communications Unit) Datuk Abdullah Saidol on Wednesday (July 6).
The visit was aimed at strengthening cooperation between JaPen and the Sarawak Public Communications Unit (Ukas), especially in disseminating information on the latest federal and state policies.
They also discussed, among others, the coordination between JaPen and Ukas in the implementation of programmes and activities related to the media.
Also present were Ukas director Samat Junai, Sarawak Broadcasting director Nasrul Hakim Md Noh, Sarawak Bernama bureau chief Hamdan Ismail and National Film Development Corporation Borneo director Mohd Rizal Mohamed Yunus.
