KUCHING: About 30 Dayak farmers, 10 of them women, had a fruitful session after attending a two-day fertigation technology course organised by the Dayak Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI) at Palm Beach Hotel in Sematan recently.
Held from July 16 to 17, the participants came from villages in Lundu Division namely, Kampung Stunggang Ulu, Kelaoh, Sebemban, Benggang, Stunggang Dayak, Gerunggang, Kedaong, Perian and Sebandi Ulu.
The course was conducted by DCCI Supreme Council member Cooplay Ngipa, who is also a qualified trainer.
The participants learned how fertigation could improve their agricultural and farming practices and the quality and output of their produce, thus improving their financial position quality of life.
