BAU: A new Bidayuh cultural centre to showcase the cultural activities of the community is in the pipeline.
Deputy Minister of Transport (Riverine and Marine) Datuk Henry Harry Jinep on his Facebook post said that the funding approval to construct the centre has been granted by the state government.
“This new centre will be a proper venue and the state land survey has also approved the site sometime three years ago,” the post said.
The project meeting was held on Tuesday (July 19) and in attendance were the Tasik Biru assemblyman, District Officer Anielia Siam, Bau Council secretary Jeffery Ng and a few consultants.
