KUCHING: Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg received a courtesy visit by a delegation from the Asian International Arbitration Centre (AIAC) Malaysia at Wisma Bapa Malaysia here on Wednesday.

According to Sarawak Public Communication Unit (UKAS), the delegation was led by the centre’s director, Tan Sri Datuk Suryadi Halim Omar.

The visitors were accompanied by Deputy Minister in the Premier’s Department (Law, MA63 and State-Federal Relations), Datuk Sharifah Hasidah Sayeed Aman Ghazali.

The visit was to introduce AIAC to Sarawak and also discussed several matters regarding the Post COVID-19 Development Strategy (PCDS) 2030.

AIAC is a recognised Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) service provider institution in the region that not only provides arbitration services but also mediation and adjudication.
