SIMANGGANG: A python in Kampung Hulu today, which had been content after swallowing the villager’s chicken for breakfast, was eventually caught.
The existence of the five-feet-long python in the cage was discovered at 7.38 am, according to Siti Huzaimah Ibrahim, Sri Aman District Civil Defence Officer.
“We understand that the complainant who was surprised to see his pet chicken ‘changed’ to a python immediately contacted the Malaysia Civil Defence Force (APM) Sri Aman,” she said.
Huzaimah explained that this is because his chicken has become a breakfast dish for the snake involved.
She added, his members who were rushed to the location continued to carry out the operation to lure the predator who was in a state of satiety.
Huzaimah advised the public to immediately contact the Sri Aman District Operations Control Centre (PKOD) 24 hours line at 083-320973 for any emergency.
