KUCHING: Starting off by selling perfume, Radhie Ritz’one is now expanding his business empire by offering flower arrangement services for surprise sets to customers.
The 36 year old young man from Kuching said the idea of venturing into this flower arranging service was inspired by seeing the creative De’xandra perfume brand diversifying the order of the perfume in various forms to customers.
“I started venturing into this business because of a deep interest in the world of entrepreneurship from a long time ago.
“I am also very confident in my own abilities,” he told New Sarawak Tribune.
According to Radhie, he has been involved in the business of selling De’Xandra perfume for the past six years.
“The service of providing this flower surprise set is just a side income because I focus more on the De’Xandra perfume business.
“When I’m interested in something, I like to search on Google and watch videos on how to create something creative.
“That’s where I got the idea to prepare a flower surprise set to be more beautiful and attractive based on pictures from other entrepreneurs as a reference,” he added.
He admits that he looks for inspiration a lot and tries to produce something with his own creativity.
Although, this service is mostly run by women, it is not an obstacle for Radhie to also compete to produce neat and unique sets for his customers.
“The customer’s response is very satisfying and I get orders every day online and in the store until I can’t get enough of them.
“In the beginning, I always failed, but on the basis of wanting to try, I continued to work until I could produce a perfect composition in my own eyes.
“I chose this service as a way to diversify the order of De’xandra fragrances and increase my sales a little bit,” he added.
Commenting on the length of time it takes to produce a composition, Radhie said that it takes up to 30 minutes to complete.
“Any big order is a challenge because it takes a long time to complete.
“This is clear when we have to follow the wishes and tastes of customers who need to think and be more creative according to their requests,” he added.
According to him, arranging flowers requires a lot of interest, ideas and creativity in order to produce beautiful arrangements.
His involvement in the business world is not only to generate income but everything that happens in business teaches him a lot to perform better in the future, Radhie pointed out.
“My hope in this business is that more people are aware of the existence of De’Xandra Mydin Openg in Kuching.
“I think that this kind of business can go a long way because there are not many Bumiputras who provide this service offline,” he said.
For information, Radhie has six De’ Xandra fragrance kiosk branches in Kuching followed by one in Penang, Setia Alam and Kuala Lumpur.
