KOTA SAMARAHAN: The Samarahan Food and Culture Festival (SFCF) will take place on November 12-18 in conjunction with the anniversary of the Kota Samarahan Municipal Council (MPKS) this year.

Samarahan District Office Administrative Officer Lim Kiew Leng said this on behalf of Muara Tuang assemblyman Datuk Idris Buang in conjunction with the launching of the SFCF Promotion Roadshow, at Easement B, Aiman Street near here, yesterday.

Various activities and competitions were organised by MPKS in conjunction with the promotional roadshow which started around 10am yesterday.

“Among them are the “otai nang steady” screening, a competition based on coconut trees and banana trees, a half aerodance, a native cake competition, a cendol drinking competition and an eating competition,” said Lim.

The SFCF 2.0 Promotional Roadshow will also be held in Asajaya on Sept 24.
