KUCHING: Sarawak Design Centre (Saradec) will be showcasing exquisite Sarawak furniture designs at the upcoming Design Fair Asia (FIND) – Asia’s most important Furniture, Interiors and Design Fair of 2022 at Marina Bay Sands, Singapore, from Sept 22 to 24
Saradec. Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Dayang Nena Abang Bruce will be leading a group of young designers from Saradec’s Sarawak Young Designers (SayD’SignersSarawak) programme, who will be showcasing their creative designs, made from exclusive exotic Sarawak timber species at the fair.
“Their creations showcase Sarawak’s distinctive design philosophy, inspired by nature, culture, and the designers’ surrounding,” she said in a statement today.
“Perfected and brought to life together with 11 of Sarawak’s foremost furniture houses and manufacturers, under the SayD’SignersSarawak Link & Match (SLIM) incubator programme, these exquisite designs presented in the form of furniture made from Sarawak hardwood timber ensure lasting beauty,” she added.
