BINTULU: A police report was made regarding a road bump that caused safety risk to road users in front of Meridian Central here.

Bintulu MP, Datuk Seri Tiong King Sing said due to the matter, Bintulu Member of Parliament Service Office staff have inspected the location.

“Upon inspection, they have found that it endangers the safety of road users and is capable of damaging vehicles because it is built too high,” he said in his Facebook video post on Friday.

In the 16 seconds video, the road bump was seen being demolished by a bulldozer.

Tiong then said, since the construction of the bump did not get any permission or approval from the authorities, a police report regarding this matter was made at the Bintulu District Police Station on Thursday.
