MIRI: A knowledge-based programme aptly called ‘Jum Nambah Ilmu’ by the Miri branch of Pustaka Negeri Sarawak (Pustaka) will be held this weekend in Bintulu from October 29 to 31.
It is aimed at promoting knowledge acquisition in building a community that is knowledgeable in line with the present IT advancement.
Students, youths and members of the public aged 18 and above can attend the programme.
Pustaka said the programme includes an introduction to the state library, information literacy session, and several sections, namely MakerSpace Corner (robotics activities), GastroSpace Corner (food and drink preparation) and StorySpace Corner (storytelling and knowledge-sharing).
Organised in collaboration with the library’s smart partner, BDA Public Library, the programme will be held at the BDA Public Library Sungai Plan branch (Oct 29), Multipurpose Hall of Kampung Segan (Oct 30) and Mosque Hall in Kampung Kuala Tatau (Oct 31) from 9am to 4pm.
