BAU: A man was killed in a crash at the Jalan Bau-Lundu junction here this morning.
According to a source, the deceased was driving alone when the incident happened around 11am.
He had exited a junction near Kampung Sibuluh before crashing into a lorry that was moving straight.
A fire and rescue department spokesman said a team from Bau fire and rescue station was despatched to the scene immediately after receiving an emergency call.
The victim, who was trapped in his Perodua Kenari, has been identified as Spencer Michael, 41.
The body was extricated by the firemen and pronounced dead at the scene by the paramedics from Bau Hospital.
His body was handed over to the police for further action.
