KUCHING: Parti Bumi Kenyalang president Voon Lee Shan called into question Pakatan Harapan’s (PH) manifesto for the 15th general election (GE15) given that PH failed to fulfil its manifesto in GE14.

He said when PH chairman Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim came here on Saturday he once again talked about their manifesto.

“Pakatan Harapan manifesto, can you trust Anwar Ibrahim? Can you trust DAP, can you trust PKR?

“We were informed that in GE14, Chong Chieng Jen (Stampun incumbent) and even Kelvin Yii (Bandar Kuching incumbent) said they (PH) will give the 20 per cent oil royalty back and 50 per cent of all taxes collected from Sarawak, but where are they?

“Until today I don’t think any of it has been fulfilled,” Voon who is also the Parti Sarawak Bersatu (PSB) Bandar Kuching candidate said in a press conference here on Sunday.

“Now you come with another federal manifesto to say that we (PH) will specially get to empower Sabah and Sarawak.

“Can you trust PH? I’m very doubtful. Once beaten twice shy, so I’m telling the voters not to trust PH anymore.”

On Saturday, Anwar listed out four promises to Sarawakians if PH wins in GE15.

Among these is to ensure the Malaysia Agreement 1963 (MA63) is amended.

“Barisan Nasional (BN) and Perikatan Nasional (PN) have not given importance and recognition to ‘wilayah’ Sabah and Sarawak over the last 50 to 60 years,” he said.
