KUCHING:122 outstanding students from Wong Nai Siong Secondary School in Sibu received academic excellence awards this year from Naim Foundation, the charitable arm of Naim Group of Companies, one of the leading property developers and contractors in Malaysia recently.
Naim’s Head of Corporate Communications, Caroline Yeo explained that the awards were part of the Foundation’s annual academic excellence award programme for secondary schools in Sarawak.
“The contribution was part of the foundation’s community outreach programme which aimed, among others, to inculcate the attitude to strive for excellence among the younger generation.
‘Our message to students is clear: when the going gets tough, the tough gets going. Be it in school or in life, there will be times when we encounter challenges. Never fear such challenges, as the lessons learnt from these challenges will make us stronger.
“We congratulate all for your hard work and we look forward to more success stories in time to come!’ Yeo remarked.
