KUCHING: Development projects worth a total of RM5 million are expected to be completed by yearend in Demak Laut area. Nine out of 19 development projects for the Demak Laut area are implemented by the Public Works Department (JKR). These are worth a total of RM2.6 million.

For the rest, the implementations are undertaken by the Kuching South City Council (MBKS) as well as the state Drainage and Irrigation Department (DID). During the project briefing held at JKR Kuching headquarters yesterday, all the projects are going on smoothly without any issue, and expected to be completed by the end of this year. Present during the briefing were Demak Laut Assemblyman Dr Hazland Abang Hipni.
