KUCHING: The Kuching Division Social Welfare Office has requested the public’s assistance in locating the biological mother or next of kin for two children.

The children were identified as Azeen Saffya, three, and Hana Syahirah, two, in a statement issued yesterday.

Azeen, on March 10, 2019, and Hana, on October 9, 2020, were abandoned at Kuching Specialist Hospital (KPJ) while they were still babies.

The goal of this detection is to ensure the child’s safety, well-being, and placement.

As a result, the Kuching Division Social Welfare Office requests that anyone with information on the biological mother or next of kin of the child to contact the Child Protection Officer, Asdayanti Sakawi, at 082-507 999/ 507 111 or 019-889 4375.
