KUCHING: Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg received a courtesy call from members of the Baitulmal and Waqf Board at his office, Wisma Bapa Malaysia here, today.
According to the Sarawak Public Communication Unit (UKAS), the courtesy visit was to introduce its chairman Datuk Abang Helmi Tan Sri Abang Ikhwan, who replaced Datuk Putit Matzen.
During the visit, a briefing was also held with the Premier on the development of Baitulmal activities throughout last year.
Among the members present were Datuk Sri Abang Abdul Karim Tun Datuk Abang Openg, Datuk Kipli Yassin, Professor Datuk Dr. Jamil Hamali, Datuk Abdul Razak Tready and Datuk Abdul Rahman Abang Fadzail.
Also present were Sarawak Islamic Council president Datuk Misnu Taha, and Baitulmal general manager Datuk Abg Mohd Shibli Abg Mohd Nailie.
