MIRI: A car had reportedly hit a fallen tree early this morning while navigating along Jalan Tanjong.
According to Miri Fire and Rescue Department acting chief Ahmad Nizam Sapaiee, they received an emergency alert around 4.55am to help remove an uprooted tree.
A team of firemen from Miri Central station was dispatched to the scene after being informed about the incident.
Fortunately, no injuries were reported in the mishap.
The operation ended at 5.38am.
Heavy rain and strong winds were reported prior to the incident.
