KOTA SAMARAHAN: A local man was found dead inside a car in an oil palm plantation near Kampung Endap, here yesterday (Jan 19).
Kota Samarahan police chief DSP Brodie Brangka said the body of the 47-year-old victim was found by a plantation worker before noon.
“The discovery was made when a worker found a car parked in the plantation area.
“When examining the vehicle, the worker found a body and immediately contacted his manager who reported the case to the police,” he said.
Preliminary investigations found no signs of injury on the body and no signs of a struggle.
Brodie said the victim’s body was taken to the Sarawak General Hospital (SGH) for a post-mortem.
The case has been classified as sudden death pending an investigation.
