MIRI: An elderly man injured his eyes and right hand after he slipped while walking towards his car which was parked nearby a shophouse building at Pujut 7 yesterday afternoon.
The 88 year-old man was then rushed to Miri Hospital for medical treatment by a team of Miri Civil Defence Force (APM).
According to Miri APM spokesperson, they received an emergency call from the public who spotted the victim lying on the ground at 1. 19 pm.
It was said that the victim was alone when the incident happened.
