BINTULU: A local man was slightly injured after his car skidded and overturned in the middle of the road at Taman Putra Jaya here last night (Feb 5).
The 52-year-old who sustained scratches on his forehead, was brought out of his car by passers-by before rescuers arrived at the scene.
A spokesman for the Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) said firemen from the Bintulu station were deployed to the scene following a distress call around 11.20pm.
The team administered first aid to the victim’s injuries.
They also helped to carry out flushing works to clear the oil spill on the road.
