KUCHING: A total of 40,580 candidates from 1,284 examination centres throughout Sarawak will sit for the Ujian Pencapaian Sekolah Rendah (UPSR) 2018 from 20 to 27 September 2018 for the Sekolah Jenis Kebangsaan Cina and from 24 to 27 September 2018 for Sekolah Kebangsaan.
Of the total, 30,651 candidates or 75.53 per cent will sit for the public examination in Bahasa Melayu while 9,929 candidates or 24.47 per cent will sit for the examination in Chinese.
In this regard, 356 Area Supervisors and a total of 5,032 Supervisors will be involved in handling the examination.
All candidates are reminded to check the examination timetable and bring their Identity Card/Birth Certificate or identification form and admission statement to the examination centre on each day of the exam.
