MIRI: The back part of a wooden house in Kampung Tuanku Abdul Rahman, Lambir reportedly collapsed early on Thursday morning.

According to the house’s owner, aged 68, the incident occurred just a few minutes after 12am September 20 after strong winds.

Fortunately, no injury was reported in the incident.

The house’s owner was living alone in the 50 year-old wooden house.

Four crew members of the Malaysia Civil Defence Force (JPAM) Miri were mobilised to the scene in response to an emergency alert on the incident.

According to JPAM Miri spokesperson, they received a call on the incident around 9.15am on Thursday.

The victim is currently taking shelter at a home of a neighbour.
