KUCHING: Deputy Minister of Utility and Telecommunication Datuk Dr Abdul Rahman Junaidi has called on Kuching North City Hall (DBKU) to intensify its environment sustainability efforts.

He said it must also continue to strive to provide the best services for the citizens of Kuching.

“The task has been entrusted to DBKU, hence it must take on the responsibility to carry out and perform its tasks with great enthusiasm.

“We can see that the citizens of Kuching have high levels of confidence in the local council.

“They are confident that services provided by DBKU are efficient and effective as its personnel, especially the uniformed employees are willing to go to great lengths to ensure the wellbeing of the people,” he said.

He was officiating at the DBKU uniformed personnel marching and special meeting yesterday (Feb 22).

At the same time, Dr Abdul Rahman commended DBKU for its relentless efforts during the Covid-19 pandemic.
