KUCHING: Pullman Kuching is gearing up for the holy month of Ramadan with its “Juh Berambeh di Pullman” Ramadan Buffet Dinner, a celebration of togetherness and community at the heart of the festive month.
The buffet, available daily throughout Ramadan until April 21, 2023, is curated by cluster director of Culinary, Chef Ken, and his team and features an array of delectable dishes, from traditional Malay cuisine to international favourites.
“This year’s “Juh Berambeh” means “let’s gather together” in the local Sarawak dialect.
“Our theme is a celebration of the spirit of togetherness and community that is at the heart of the holy month of Ramadan.
“The highlight of the Ramadan Buffet is our live stations, where chefs prepare each dish with care right in front of you, so you can feast with your eyes, allowing you to interact with our skilled chefs,” said its general manager Adrian Ng.
The buffet, which would be served at Puzzle Restaurant, would have a weekly rotation of main dishes, including braised Pak Loo duck, butter salted egg prawn, perut lembu masak lemak pedas minang, ikan bawal masak assam pedas, wok-fried squid in Kom-Poo style and more selections.
In addition to the main dishes, the buffet spread includes an appetiser section with ulam-ulaman tempatan, rojak, sambal, aneka kerabu, salads, sampingan, and keropok, as well as seven Warung stations featuring all-time favourite delicacies like kambing bakar, sayap ayam, char siu, bubur lambuk, satay ayam, and daging, ayam shawarma, and more.
Dessert options include pudding gula hangus, jeli buahan, various Malay kueh, and assorted cakes and pastries.
The buffet dinner is priced at RM138+ per adult and RM68+ per child or senior citizen, and an early bird promotion is available from March 6 to March 21, priced at RM118+ per adult.
