KUCHING: Kuching North City Hall (DBKU) has once again opened its annual Ramadan bazaar at Taman Sukma, boasting approximately 50 stalls offering an extensive variety of food and drinks.

The bazaar was officially launched yesterday by Semariang assemblywoman Datuk Sharifah Hasidah Sayeed Aman Ghazali, who highlighted the 36 food varieties and different drinks available, including grilled chicken, grilled fish, and other mouthwatering dishes.

Speaking at the event, Hasidah emphasized that the bazaar aims to provide the community with a convenient place to purchase food for breaking the fast during Ramadan. She also urged traders to prioritize cleanliness and safety for consumers, and to pack their food according to the highest standards, avoiding repeated food.

“It is hoped that stall operators will cook using quality and nutritious ingredients for families to break their fast,” she added.

The bazaar is expected to attract thousands of visitors, and the response so far has been positive. DBKU’s efforts to organize the bazaar have been widely appreciated by the community, as it offers a convenient solution for those who do not have the time to cook during Ramadan.
